Young Historians
- A letter from John A. Maciver tendering his resignation as one of the Project Leaders was read. He stated that, due to increased commitments elsewhere, he was unable to carry on. After discussion it was decided that both he and Nina should be paid £750 each to cover the first six months of the project. It was also unanimously decided to pay Nina an extra £100 for additional administration.
- Mention was made of the laminated display board, prepared by the Young Historians, on the History of Garry Bridge and the Ness/Tolsta Road. The board was part of the display at the Hall on May Holiday in respect of the visit of the Classic Cars Club. As the cars were first going to Garry it was decided to ask John Morrison (New Tolsta) to give a short talk at the Bridge. Angus Macleod phoned John and he agreed.
Books It was decided to buy two copies of Donald Macdonald's History of Lewis.
