RESEEDING

In an effort to enrich the common grazing two plots of 20 and 50 acres have been reseeded.

AFTER TWENTY-NINE YEARS

On the eve of their departure after 29 years service in Tolsta J.S.School, Mr.and Mrs.Angus Maclean were presented with various gifts from this community as a whole, from the teaching staff, the canteen staff and the pupils as a token of esteem and the bond between them and the community.

All the village wish them all that is good in their new home in Kingussie.

THE STRIKERS

Vanloads of unemployed seaman travel to Stornoway most nights in support of the unofficial strike.

With the whole world in a state of tension it is not surprising that spasms should affect us here, but we cannot understand why men who prefer to differ should be prevented from going about their legitimate business.
