It was not just 11 a side that Tolsta's footballers displaying sporting prowess...they also excelled in the fast paced world of five-a-side football.

Tolsta competed well in 5-aside tournaments (Nicolson Sports Centre, Andy Gray 5s, the Hangar, Sports Festival) in the 70s and 80s winning a number of competitions. However, on this occasion and in a number of other finals, Tolsta lost out to the Acres Boys Club who were the undisputed champions of the indoor game in the Western Isles and further afield for nearly twenty years. The ABC of course included the Johnson twins (back row, second and seventh from the left) who turned out regularly for the Tolsta Eilean an Fhraoich team.
