In November of 03 the Young Historians set out on an adventure to..... the other side of.......the island!  We all went to the Gearrannan Blackhouse in Carloway to try and experience the everyday life of living in a Blackhouse.  The story of the trip is so individual to every member it is fair to say that because everyone said that it was one of the best experiences of their lives it must have been good. We travelled to Gearrannan over the Pentland road to make the journey a little more authentic!
